DESIGN NOTES

Soft, tonal neutrals, ecru, sand, and warm timber, were layered to let the architecture breathe. The absence of strong colour was intentional, creating calm through texture and depth rather than saturation.

Every item was measured to the room’s proportions, ensuring visual balance and air between pieces. The restraint in furnishing allowed the architecture and materials to speak, reinforcing a sense of quiet luxury.

We relied on material contrast rather than colour, soft linen against stone, matte finishes beside polished surfaces, to create depth, tactility, and an understated sense of refinement.

Each piece was selected for purpose as much as for beauty. Scale, circulation, and comfort informed placement, ensuring the space feels both liveable and elevated.

By curating fewer, better elements, pieces with honest materials and craftsmanship, Like Indigo Loves, we achieved warmth without visual noise. The space feels layered yet serene.

The overarching aim was to evoke stillness. Every surface, tone, and texture contributes to a sense of calm, a pause from the outside world.

Every design tells a story - of vision, materiality, and emotion.

Novus reminds us that restraint is not limitation, but clarity.
