Marmoucha is a tribe of the Middle Atlas mountains and the south of Morocco.Highly influenced by the Beni Ouarain carpets with their black patterns on a white, beige background, they are incomparable high quality rugs.The Marmoucha were know as colourful carpets, decorated with only abstract design. The Berber weavers have always been excellent in the art of carpet weaving.
