Salvaged from Rajasthan, this vintage writing desk perhaps once belonged to a local schoolhouse of the region. It was crafted from solid teak over 70 years ago, showing hints of British Colonial design, like the beautiful turned legs, and has since been polished in a natural wax to enhance the warm tones in the timber. It would make a beautiful desk in any modern home, but we think it would also make a great console table in the entryway of a home because its drawers can be used to hide away those precious, essential items.
