Salvaged from Rajasthan, this vintage writing desk perhaps once belonged to a local schoolhouse of the region. It was crafted from solid teak over 70 years ago, showing subtle hints of British Colonial design, and has since been polished in a natural wax to enhance the bright, warm tones in the timber. It would make a beautiful desk in any modern home, but we think it would also make a great console table in the entryway or hallway of a home because its unique top-opening compartments can be used to hide away those precious, essential items.
