Almirahs, both big and small, were a staple piece in most Indian households. They were often used to store salt and grain in the kitchen, or saris and other textiles in living spaces and bedrooms. Salvaged from in the heart of Rajasthan, this beautiful 80-year-old vintage almirah was once used to store traditional kantha and quilts. Handcrafted from solid teak, it has since been restored and polished in a dark, natural wax.
