Wooden almirahs, both big and small, were a staple in every Indian household. They were used to store salt and grain in the kitchen or sometimes saris and piles of textiles in the bedroom. Uncovered in Rajasthan, this 60-year-old piece was found in a traditional haveli of the region. Crafted from solid teak, and polished to protect its original paintwork, this cabinet has ample room for all of your precious trinkets.
