Salvaged in Gansu, a town that once sat along the silk road, this 80-year-old elm sideboard has been fitted with front opening doors to fit seamlessly into your modern way of life. This piece was once an old chest and would open from above for farmers and workers to fill with their daily harvest of rice and grain. It would make a stylish sideboard in any home, topped with curated homewares, framed photos and your favourite scented candle. This sideboard has been finished in a deep lacquer that will patina over time.
