Surrounded by temples and old merchants’ mansions sits China’s plateau province of Shanxi. It was there that we found this beautiful, generations-old cabinet. Estimated at over a century in age, this piece was crafted from solid elm wood and has been treated in a natural wax to protect its vintage patina.
